The Senior Tax/Transition Liability Business Developer is a new position designed to assist Aons production staff and independently drive increased use of tax insurance with existing Aon clients and prospects and prospects new to Aon.
In this role, the selected candidate will assist with developing, recommending, and implementing efficient and effective methods to maximize client benefits; conduct detailed reviews on all returns and appropriate review notes for preparers.
This candidate is responsible for the tax preparation for fiduciary tax, including estates and trusts, as well as exposure to High Net Worth tax, family partnerships and corporations, gift taxes and other tax planning vehicles.
In this role, the Senior Associate will be responsible for providing tax compliance and advisory services to partnerships, corporations, and S-corporations for a variety of clients from Fortune 100 to emerging businesses.
Senior Tax Associate will be responsible for handling tax compliance, planning and administration; estate, gift and charitable planning; and, accounting services for the firm's High Net Worth clientele.
Work closely with senior manager(s) on project planning as well, as well as overall solution design. Manage project documentation related to analysis, requirements, design, testing, training and project work plans.
Assisting (other) R&D project managers with the delivery of engagements as needed, including research and writing with regard to technical issues. Providing R&D quality assurance, engagement reviewer and exam support.
This position will be responsible for assisting Manager, Sr. Income Tax with keeping the company in compliance with and informed of changes involving income taxes. Oversee and manage the external provider for property tax compliance and planning. Develop and manage the property tax estimates and accounting for costs.
Prepare, review, and maintain adequate documentation of all transactions in preparation for future audit. Coordinate inclusion of U.S. GAAP, Local GAAP, US STAT, Local STAT and as well as Tax Sharing Agreement implications.
Manage the retention and preparation of tax records, tax returns, and other required reports and assist in all aspects of the tax provision; complying with internal control procedures related to the Tax Function; and assessing the impact of the organization's tax liability.
In this role, the Senior Associate will be responsible for providing excellent client service to multi-state companies with state and local tax issues, including compliance, advisory services, planning, technology, and controversies.
