Support Department for development and maintenance of the ERIDS and ESSC Systems. The department's mission is to provide system engineering, software development, maintenance, test, user, and system support on the behalf of the FAA. Position requires continual customer contact with good "people skills" a must.
This position will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical power systems. An intimate knowledge of electrical switchgear, motor control centers, transformers, emergency generators and protective relays. This individual must be able direct and supervise electrical power installations and repairs.
Familiarity/working knowledge of system engineering concepts. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies and recommended requirements allocation to translate customer requirements into system level specifications.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving problems with other Systems Administrators, Database Administrators, Software Developers, and commercial business colleagues.
Responsible for following established guidelines and identifying and resolving problems. Individual at this level is expected to use some independence of thought but to refer more complex problems to supervisors or other experts.
Uphold high standards for timely issue resolution; contribute expertise to the management of existing and new IT products and services; define workarounds for known errors and initiate process improvements.
