Manage and maintain effective communication with all internal and external partners, such as suppliers, members of the Management team, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Marketing and/or the Director of Operations.
The candidate will act as the organizational representative in dealing with Senior Management, key internal stakeholders, the companys business units, and external Transportation and Logistics suppliers.
The candidate will lead efforts to achieve world class supply chain performance by ensuring systemic issues are understood and organizational focus exists to close in a timely manner to support customer and business needs.
Work independently with considerable latitude to shape project outputs and drive the intended business outcomes by establishing priorities, activities, and specific direction provided to the project teams toward achieving the solutions business value.
Collaborates with technical teams to analyze acquisition requirements. Advises staff and management regarding contract terms and conditions, applicable health system policies and procedures, and best practices to advance Procurement department business objectives.
This position is responsible for creating and driving processes for identifying, valuating and prioritizing supply chain solution innovations and improvements, as well as ensuring their timely execution.
In conjunction with the comapnys Director of Global Marketing Procurement and the functional business leaders, the incumbent will lead the development of the Advertising & Marketing Technology categories and supplier relationships, incorporating key business and strategic sourcing strategies.
