The New Markets Strategy Manager is responsible for defining strategic innovation through the identification and realization of new and emerging digital markets where our products, services, and platforms can be sold. Example projects include new and resale marketplace distribution channels, digital-only storefronts, and device and accessory selection expansion.
Staying abreast of thefor digital commerce (mobile and e-commerce) platforms to consider leveraging and thus drive the business value in terms of increased digital spend/ commerce share for Citi within our GCB businesses (Credit / Debit cards).
This role will require collaboration with regional and local Market Research teams to define market entry scenarios from a global perspective including competitive analysis, positioning and message platforms.
In this role, the selected candidate will review risks related to new products, non-standard trades, structured deals and business strategies; liaising closely with the business and other support functions to determine these risks and ensure they are within firms risk appetite and correctly reported.
Ability to manage cross-functional teams internally and externally against client projects ranging from four to twelve months in duration; ability to quickly engage and influence business and technical partners.
The Market Risk Analyst would be expected to confidently work with the trading desk and various support partners, including Legal, Compliance, Middle Office, Operations, Technology, Price-Verification Group, Model Validation, Regulatory Capital, and other Risk Managers within the organization to build their understanding of the business and markets, and enhance our overall risk management capabilities.
This position is responsible for the delivery of enhanced technology capabilities, providing functional support, and resolving issues. We expect this individual to work in close coordination with our existing CRM and Management Reporting technology teams based in our California headquarters.
In this role, the selected candidate must have a proven experience as a sales hunter, with the ability to analyze, present, and adapt business plans and strategies to balance market needs with the companys core competencies, culture, and long-term objectives.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for generating daily risk reports, ensuring data accuracy, reviewing positions against limits, and performing ad-hoc reporting/projects, etc. The analyst would also be expected to improve our risk monitoring and reporting capabilities by developing enhanced more comprehensive reports and risk metrics.
In this role, you will be responsible for manage all aspects of project timeline including hitting all major project milestones, coordinating and synthesizing cross functional inputs on questionnaires and ensuring any research stimulus is appropriate, accurate and delivered on time.
Establish policies and procedures over sanctions screening processes, assess impact to Markets businesses of proposed changes to Citi policies, procedures, and standards, and work with key stakeholders to ensure appropriate implementation.
