The Maintenance Supervisor manages utility consumption, and operation of boilers, purchasing of parts and services, plant layout and equipment installation and maintenance to support efficient operations and optimize customer service.
This position supervises technicians in repairing and maintaining the transportation and distribution portions of the technical systems, and ensuring that technical problems are handled in a timely manner. Also ensures all electronic equipment within the CATV system is maintained, repaired, or adjusted appropriately.
This position has responsibility for all day-to-day maintenance operations. The position contributes to production by achieving the plant's goals through achieving maximum machine uptime by reducing cost, increasing productivity and improving machine reliability.
In this role, the selected candidate will lead team of hourly associates with varying levels of experience and education. Responsible for people and team development, quality performance, cost, service and safety.
In this role, the selected candidate will contribute to a cohesive, positive and clean work environment by providing guidance, performance feedback and coaching to leads and partners; serve as the technical expert and resource for plant maintenance partners.
This role ensures equipment reliability, preventative maintenance, mechanical execution, unplanned maintenance and continuous improvement as well as additional diagnostic and technological responsibilities.
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the safe and efficient mechanical maintenance of all paper and pulp equipment. Significant experience with pulp and paper industry manufacturing and equipment, high speed rotating equipment, pumps, piping is required.
