Coordinate, implement and document software configuration management (CM) and version control of mortgage and automotive mainframe and distributed (MS Windows and Linux client/server environments) solutions.
This position will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical power systems. An intimate knowledge of electrical switchgear, motor control centers, transformers, emergency generators and protective relays. This individual must be able direct and supervise electrical power installations and repairs.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for the day to day creation, deployment, support and maintenance of development software stacks, overseeing build frameworks, repackaging RPM dependencies, improving OS distributions, writing configuration management code, and building software tools to support infrastructure provisioning.
Uphold high standards for timely issue resolution; contribute expertise to the management of existing and new IT products and services; define workarounds for known errors and initiate process improvements.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving problems with other Systems Administrators, Database Administrators, Software Developers, and commercial business colleagues.
This experienced individual has a proven track record of developing quality software in a world class financial services organization within a latency-sensitive and data-quality-sensitive electronic trading environment.
Familiarity/working knowledge of system engineering concepts. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies and recommended requirements allocation to translate customer requirements into system level specifications.
Responsible for following established guidelines and identifying and resolving problems. Individual at this level is expected to use some independence of thought but to refer more complex problems to supervisors or other experts.
