Advance skills in Microsoft Word including the use of styles and document sectioning, formatting, paragraph numbering, stripping existing code, redline/strikeout and automater Table of Contents and Table of Authorities are required.
Sorts, opens and logs incoming mail. Notifies in-house counsel of all issues requiring immediate action. Makes copies, collates, and distributes information, as appropriate. Handles complex and confidential material on a regular basis.
Requires problem solving abilities and the following attributes: excellent communication and organizational skills, strong attention to detail, works well under pressure, ability to multi-task and prioritize, works well both independently and as a team member, and has the ability to work effectively in a fast paced and high pressured environment.
Perform typing, transcription, prepare documents in final format, including but not limited to redlining, blacklining, merge, columns, footnoting, creating tables of contents, tables, etc. in accordance with local courts rules for filing with various courts and administrative agencies.
The right candidate will be detail oriented, a self starter, have lots of energy and confident with meeting clients, handling all administrative duties, including travel, business expenses and be familiar with digital document services.
