The IT Support Engineer must have an excellent understanding of computers (both hardware and software) and a demonstrated willingness to learn and apply new technology. They must possess superior technical aptitude, written and oral communications skills and the ability to deal effectively with people in a wide variety of situations.
Guide Service Delivery and Testing Team staff on system architectures, project detail and timelines; analyze problems and provide technical investigation of support queries escalated by the global support team to engineering team.
The role will involve testing of core components of the trading infrastructure, building automated tests, and implementing test harnesses, as well as working with developers to ensure best practices for building testable systems.
The selected candidate will identify technical and operational requirements to support development of secure solutions and evaluate security controls to ensure compliance with applicable RMF requirements and standards.
Interact with product management, project management and test teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives; design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical use cases.
Utilizing his/her skills to provide assistance to the operations team in resolving technical problems within the fulfillment center that cover a multitude of technical disciplines. This position is the second level of support for the operations of the fulfillment center and serves as a resource to technical support technicians while also acting as a representative of the it department to internal customers.
