The Detox Nurse provides highest level of care for those struggling with the disease of addiction. Provide skillful patient care in preparation and distribution of medication, patient care notes, make rounds ensuring patient needs are met in a timely and proficient manner.
The Registered Nurse provides nursing care in the health care system within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards and assures awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics.
Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements and other regulatory agencies.
Responsible for ensuring clinical trials are conducted in accordance with scientific, medical, and ethical principles, and within regulatory requirements/guidelines. Volunteer safety & accurate interpretation and execution of research protocols including multiple study activities.
Demonstrate competency in core and unit specific clinical skills - Uses the nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes - Must work collaboratively with all disciplines on assigned unit.
Working under moderate supervision, the After Hours Hospice Nurse (RN) will be responsible for coordinating and providing high quality multidisciplinary health services for patients in the Hospice Care Program.
Nurses are responsible for providing IV infusion nursing care in the home or ambulatory setting, performing in-hospital discharge assessments and occasional IV hook-ups, teaching patients about their home infusion therapy, and providing ongoing monitoring of their treatment.
Provide skilled professional nursing care to patient/family/caregivers as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with regulations by the State Board of Registered Nursing and company policies when called upon after hours.
