As the Assistant Director of Nursing Education, you will assist with planning, implementation and management of the nursing education program; maintain current knowledge of and ensures compliance with all regulatory and professional standards of care.
In this role you will be responsible for the overall provision of the optimal achievable quality of nursing care for all residents; you will direct the coordination of all nursing services and act as liaison between the Administrator and nursing services administration.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for clinical oversight of the office and the HHA's, RN's that go out into the field. Pediatric experience is highly preferred and high tech nursing.
In this role, the selected candidate will be developing and implementing philosophy, objectives, policies and standards of nursing practice in accordance with regulations the goals of the organization and the individual center.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of nursing objectives, a nurse staffing plan, participation in the annual budget and financial objectives, and the development and implementation of a quality assurance plan for nursing services.
The Chief Nursing Officer directs all nursing service activities for the facility assigned by making recommendations for staff/patient ratios, by maintaining a system to determine and provide adequate staff for provision of appropriate nursing care, by serving as a liaison between staff and administration, by promoting productivity of staff, by developing and implementing policies and procedures for nursing service in compliance with hospital system policies and procedures and accreditation standards.
This position is responsible for participating and reviewing State inspections and reports in conjunction with the Administrator and instituting a plan of correction as required as well as updating and reviewing nursing policies and procedures to ensure a continuum of quality care.
In this role, the selected candidate must have a knowledge of geriatric care issues and related nursing standards and creates a work environment that fosters teamwork and ongoing educational activities.
In this role, the candidate will plan, organize, direct, coordinate and control the clinical and administrative activities of the Emergency Department in accordance with the Nursing Department's Strategic Plan.
