The Director of Dining Services or DDS is responsible for the overall food service function. He/she plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates and supervises activities of the department to provide services for residents/patients, employees and visitors. He/She provides technical guidance and administrative direction to the Food and Nutrition Services personnel.
In this role, the selected candidate will oversee the timely and accurate preparation and service of meals, snacks and nourishments in various dining locations and times; ensure satisfaction with meals/foods served.
In this role, the selected candidate will work with the Chef and management team in creating nutritious and top quality food for the students; oversee all P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the account.
