In this role, the selected candidate provides a variety of dental services, including amalgams, composites, extractions, endodontics, fixed and removable prosthetics, preventive treatments and emergency care.
A ideal physician candidate would have a passion for quality dental care to patients who have little access to healthcare. This position is primarily pediatric but will have some adult general dentistry responsibilities as well.
In this role, you will build significant value for Aspen Dental, the defined territory and the candidate by immersing themselves in practice operations and the overall dental community. Recruiters must support maximizing new and existing practice results through the development of a clear understanding of practice metrics and territory operating plans.
This position will have a strong involvement in academic recruitment, which will cultivate relationships with dental schools but with primary focus on residency programs (GPR) within the territory, with a high concentration in the NYC area.
Pediatric dentist will manage the high volume of pediatric patients with varying types of complex dental disease; provide care to unmanageable, emotionally, physically challenged and intellectually challenged patients in the operating room under general anesthesia; enhance the interdisciplinary screening and provide pediatric dental education in the residency training program and staff.
