In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring a portfolio of public and privately held retail companies using fundamental financial statement and operational analysis focusing on credit risk, tracking industry trends, while preparing written analytical reports to summarize key findings.
The Credit Analyst will play a substantial role in the evaluation and monitoring of the Groups counterparty credit exposures. This position requires a highly organized and analytical thinker who can quickly adapt to daily challenges and take on a variety of responsibilities in this relatively small but important department. Contributions to automation of the departments functions will be highly valued.
In this role, you will have the ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization.
The Credit Analyst will perform intensive fundamental credit analysis, and will formulate and effectively communicate investment recommendations that add value to the portfolios. The candidate will be responsible for providing quantitative/analytical and qualitative support for investment grade corporate bonds.

In this role, the selected candidate will ensure the accurate handling of the daily servicing associated with the syndicated loan portfolio to include but not limited to the following: closing and booking of primary and secondary trading activity, subsequent funding requests, loan re-pricings and rate setting, principal repayments.
In this role, the selected candidate will manage the escheat process end to end through collaboration with the general ledger, collections and payroll teams and create daily, weekly and monthly cash and cash target reports for management and senior management review.
In this role, the selected candidate will collect and analyze counter party financial statements for evaluation within the firms credit policies. Credit evaluation reports will include quantitative analysis and written qualitative sections.
In this role, you will be expected to review annual property operating statements and rent roll/lease summary of properties secured by chase commercial real estate loans, and then compare the results of the operating analysis to local market conditions and underwriting in order to determine the overall performance of the property within the market and to identify any potential risk of default.
In this role, the selected candidate will prepare credit memoranda for new loans, renewals and participations on assigned credits; perform research through available sources to complete credit analysis, including researching real estate market and demographic data using REIS and appraisal reports.
