Responsible for maintaining and overseeing the Accounting and Treasury functions of a holding company, including preparation of consolidated financial statements, and is involved in all financial decisions within the company.
The position will require a tactical, hands-on approach over the first year. You will partner closely with the CFO to review current processes and bring well formulated recommendations of change to the table. Directly managing a team of five plus, you will review the current talent and organizational structure to ensure the corporate accounting function is positioned to succeed.
Assist with the development of and participation in the action plan to bring increased structure to accounting processes including maintaining accrual schedules, providing direction on the coding of expenses, and reviewing expenses.
Performing all accounting transactions, including AP, AR, GL, payroll, budget to actual reports; designing, building and distributing relevant and timely information that supports the needs of the business.
