Responisble for maintainining the shop equipment ensuring maximum uptime efficiency. Supporting industrialization of production facility working with the manufacturing and industrial engineers under the program leadership.
Leads the Value Stream in daily operations and continuous improvement activities, which may include, but are not limited to: supply chain / production planning, establishing manufacturing priorities, coordination of activities with leadership across all shifts, and schedule attainment.
Using lean tools, manage projects with no known solution. Lead projects with multiple team members, defining individual roles to maximize resources. Present project proposals that will enable sound business decisions.
Lead all aspects of operations within a line of product with overall responsibilities for productivity, safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, employee engagement, and other production-related activities in a continuous improvement environment.
Lead the effective production of high quality products in a timely manner by identifying, troubleshooting and resolving bottlenecks, process failures, incomplete or outdated procedural guides, staffing issues, supply chain problems, or training deficiencies.
Responsible for leading and managing the Value Stream and its overall day-to-day business operations to the successful achievement of its production output and financial goals as measured through the profit and loss statement (P&L).
Ensure schedules are maintained along with evaluating and disposing of rejected material. Check scrap problems, determine cause and work closely with QC to implement controls necessary to maintain high quality within planned production costs.
