As a Staff Scientist/Process Engineering she/he will be a senior member of a highly productive team that transfers clinical assays for the detection of human diseases into the manufacturing facility located in Suzhou, China. He/she will also be asked to supervise and contribute to device assembly and testing when needed.

The successful applicant will partner with laboratory operations staff, software engineers, and quality/regulatory specialists to increase laboratory efficiency, optimize existing assays, ensure data quality across multiple partner laboratories and develop new technologies/protocols for improving all aspects of genomic data production.
You will also be responsible for identifying and providing tooling that can increase productivity of the fleet analytics community such as feature extraction frameworks and model-predict-control workflows.
The successful candidate will have access to in-house computing and other resources at the LPI, and may negotiate access to the laboratory facilities of JSC-ARES, which includes materials analysis, high-TP experimental laboratory, and high-speed impact (gun) laboratory.
This individual will serve as a process development scientist and provide the technical expertise and leadership in the design and execution of experiments for process development, optimization, scale-up and technology transfer for water soluble synthetic polymers. Individual is expected to be a technical lead in process development and will work with and mentor the team boost process quality.
