Plans and executes engagements in accordance with the standards for the professional practice of internal auditing by formally documenting the scope, objective and procedures, (including statistical sampling and information technology) utilized within a formal engagement work program.
Understand, identify and evaluate key risks and controls and perform data analysis to facilitate risk assessment and technology control evaluation. Collaborate with colleagues and internal stakeholders/management to perform risk assessments and develop audit programs for validating internal controls.
The Senior IT Auditor is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient IT audits are performed consistent with the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley, the Companys strategic objectives, and the annual risk assessment.
Perform financial, operational, security and compliance I.T. audits in accordance with the Institute of Internal Auditors Standards across all areas of the company, including planning, detail testing and final report issuance.
Document risks and controls.
Works with staff at all levels in the organization, vendors and contractors to insure protections are effective, efficient and non-disruptive to the appropriate duties, rights and mission of the individuals within the various business organization(s).
The Senior Auditor II is primarily responsible for audit execution on areas of assigned audit responsibilities supporting audits of data management (including CCAR) and the execution of project management. This position is primarily located in either our San Ramon or Omaha locations, and requires some ability to travel.
Develop risk based IT audit programs in collaboration with management and IT, which will includebusiness process risk identification, documentation of the internal control framework and the design of effective and efficient testing procedures.
Planning and scoping, conducting audit opening/closing/status meetings, executing work programs, conducting interviews and testing, documenting findings, making recommendations, preparing and reviewing work papers, and writing reports.
