Performs comprehensive reviews of country financial reports to include performance analysis in the following areas: balance sheet, income statement, cash, grants/contracts, unrestricted and general income and expenditures, actual expenses vs. budget analysis and forecast, adequacy of adherence to generally accepted accounting principles, donor requirements and iDE financial procedures.
Oversees the effort of multiple client engagements and may or may not manage staff to meet deliverable deadlines within budget, identify roadblocks and understand critical milestones to meet client service expectations.
Perform accounting functions as assigned including, but not limited to book, reconcile and report in-force premium, direct written premium ,and loss fund balance, retro accrual, cash, cash applied to A/R, bad debt allowance and non-admitted A/R on a monthly basis.
Responsible for assisting with the tax accounting process, including the quarterly effective tax rate, quarterly journal entry requirements, preparing year-end tax provision workpapers, and related SEC and press release disclosures.
Provides accounting support for mergers and acquisitions by reviewing financial information; converting data to general ledger system; obtaining supplementary information for preparing financial statements.
The position will be responsible for maintaining and updating the companys tax depreciation reports. This position will be responsible for assisting others in the tax department with the Corptax compliance module.
A Senior Financial Analyst will work with senior managers, administrators and/or executives to ensure that the general ledger transactions are appropriately recorded in accordance with GAAP and SEC guidelines.
