This QA role will support a variety of products and services through agile software development in the LODO area. In addition to daily SQA duties, this position will also be responsible for creating test scripts from scratch.
In this role, the selected candidate must have an experience working for US Class I railroads (in railroad operations would be best) like UPRR, BNSF, NS, CSX, KCS, CN, CP or railroad OEMs like GE Transportation, EMD, Alstom, Bombardier.
In this role, the selected candidate will be working on a product team, communicate testing estimates and status, while continually working toward the removal of project roadblocks; advocate use of agile test methodologies, such as behavioral-driven development or test-driven development.
In this role, you will design, and functional requirements, gathering proper system requirements in order to create suitable performance test plans, test strategies, test scenarios, load test scripts, and test data; setting up performance monitoring; executing bottleneck, baseline, scalability, and breakpoints tests to ensure benchmarks are met; evaluating performance measurements and analysis of test results.
The Software Quality Assurance Analyst will build (write code) and support automated testing with a specific emphasis on the creation, execution, and management of automated tests across all levels of testing including: unit, functional, integration, user acceptance, and Production deployment validation testing.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible to conduct on-site inspection with the customer QA/QC Inspectors; responsible to ensure that engineering deliverables are checked for accuracy and conformance.
In this role, the selected candidate maintains an understanding of ARGUS and case processing activities so as ensure the accuracy of ICSRs, aggregate reports, ad hoc reports and analyses, and safety query responses.
