The Project Controls Specialist will perform project scheduling, reporting, forecasting, and provide proposal support as required. The Project Controls Specialist will follow project controls practices as guided by the Director of Project Controls.
This position is expected to work with the Project Controls Manager to set-up and implement a cost control system for the Project, provide PMs and Assistant PMs with the tools and processes, and train them so that a consistency can be achieved and their input can be directly incorporated into the system.
Work performed without appreciable direction; has considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Consultant to management and spokesperson for organization on major matters.
An experienced Project Controls professional to compile, analyze, and report project cost and schedule to the project team. Individual will have working experience with Cost Control, Earned Value Management, Budgets, Estimating, Change Management, Planning, Forecasting, Reporting Progress and Performance, and Project Funding.
Provides guidance in the various disciplines of project management and control; maintains ownership for the development and continuous improvement of policies, standards, and guides that standardize and optimize project delivery across company's business units.
This position is responsible for preparing project cost reports; reviewing and processing project invoices and coordinating payment with internal and client accounting departments; entering cost data. Other duties as assigned.
Provide oversight of sufficient incorporation of contractor / consultant schedules into an integrated schedule. Provide support in reconciliation of impacts of proposed changes-of-scope, schedule, and cost.
