As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be a part of a team that is focused on security, monitoring, reliability, and repeatability. Your duties include helping us find, evaluate, implement, and operate new tools and approaches that make the team fast and efficient while protecting our intellectual property, information systems, and customer data.
Develops strategic roadmap(s) describing a vision for the long-term development of Clinical Development IT digital capabilities, and translates those roadmaps into actionable capability projects with clearly articulated business cases.
Provide input and develop customized official curriculum as directed to accurately train the customers network and systems administrators on proper configuration, operation, and maintenance of network and systems operations and procedures.
Lead operations managers and teams of engineers (both employees and contractors) in project scoping, task and schedule development, resource assignment, vendor selection, dependency management, implementation planning and issue and risk management.
Develops strategic roadmap(s) describing a vision for the long-term development of Foundational Sciences IT digital capabilities, and translates those roadmaps into actionable capability projects with clearly articulated business cases.
Experience with IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) particularly incident, change, release, and/or problem management is desirable; experience with IT security standards, such as ISO 27001, and technology risk management methodologies, such as NIST 800-53, is desirable.
Demonstrate the ability to identify high value differentiating capabilities when making digital capability platform choices; develops comprehensive business case(s) to support business outcomes of new/upgraded digital capabilities.
Working on creating rest services using asp.Net web apI and c#. Contribute to production deployments, including technical documentation, participation in change control processes, and creation of release notes. Provide support for qa instances and assistance in supporting software released to production in previous sprints.
