The Regional Sales Director is responsible for driving profitable sales growth, retention, and market/brand development for business (50-4,999 lives) in 4-5 major markets through a team of 5-6 Regional Account Executives (Sales Reps).

The Director of Sales is responsible for directing, coordinating, training and supervising the Sales Managers, Catering Manager(s) and Sales/Catering Administrators/Coordinators/Administrative Assistants in all sales-related activities, including direct sales efforts, follow-up and proper sales administration.
This person will play a critical role within the organization and will need to be an active leader on a sizable business - this is a hands-on role that will allow someone to shape how the agency runs one of its biggest businesses.
In this role, the selected candidate will prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance; participate in daily business review meeting, pre-convention meetings, training and other sales-related meetings as required.
In this role, you will lead the market account management team to be the best in class within the market and experts of the Aetna products, tools and systems so as to provide exceptional service, and a consultative sales approach to retain, grow and cross-sell products on their block of existing Aetna accounts.
In this role, the selected candidate will solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication.
