This position is responsible for reviewing print and electronic copy for grammar, punctuation, clarity, style, and flow and assist the Copy Desk Manager in coordinating assigned projects. Works under general supervision.
In this role, you will work closely with Account Services, Copywriters, Art Directors, and other team members to ensure that print and digital materials are of the highest quality in terms of accuracy, utility, clarity, readability, and appeal.
The employee would be responsible for copy editing all of our various writing pieces, which includes our quarterly, semi-annual, and annual commercial real estate national reports, articles, newsletters, appraisal reports, and proposals. In this position, the employee would learn about the commercial real estate market and work closely with the marketing and publications team.
In this role, you will be supporting the editing department on a wide range of assignments, including reports, proposals, fact sheets and brochures, website content, articles, speeches, and training and conference materials. The selected candidate will adhere to a variety of contract-specific style guidelines.
In this role, you will have experience as a copy editor with a developed sense of prose style and grammar, and outstanding interoffice and communication skills. The selected candidate will familiar with copy editing in WordPress.
