The Generation Construction Contracts Consultant serves as the contract expert responsible for the development, enhancement and implementation of contract strategies, initiatives and programs for Generation Construction.
This position reports to either the Superintendent or Project Manager, and is responsible for assisting the Superintendent and/or Project Manager in producing, providing and coordinating all information necessary for the smooth running of the project.
In this role, the selected candidate must be able to develop a customer base by building strong, long-term relationships; able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Perform design technical support for construction management leadership activities which includes coordination of tasks between design staff and construction observers. Assist construction observers with construction technical issues.
Responsibilities include assisting with estimating, costing and bidding; job site surveys and scope of work evaluation. Will also be involved the safety, job start up planning and determining percent of completion on projects.
Assign, review, and evaluate laboratory or field data for inclusion in reports. Apply sound engineering principles and be able to communicate complex engineering issues and concepts to technical and non-technical clients and project teams.
These positions require familiarity with the design-build & design-bid-build procurement and execution for various construction project types, including vertical new construction, building renovation, civil / site infrastructure, pipe rehabilitation and site remediation.
