The Business Analyst is central to the development and operational maintenance of NAHBs websites (nahb.org, buildersshow.com, eyeonhousing.org, nahbnow.com, bestinamericanliving.com and others) as well as the NAHB Intranet, and other NAHB web-based initiatives, promoting awareness of these initiatives, managing their daily activities, and facilitating interaction among content management systems, NAHBs association management system, digital management system, and other online applications.
Interacts with internal and external peers and managers to exchange complex information related to areas of specialization. Serves as a liaison between engineering, quality assurance and non-technical stakeholders throughout the development and deployment process.
The ideal candidate is service-minded, inquisitive and analytical with demonstrated expertise in gaining agreement for solution proposals, possessing a strong execution orientation with excellent communication skills.
Work with management, fellow team members and business partners to establish effective controls over SDLC processes to manage change; monitor ongoing compliance with these controls and report status to IT management.
The Business Analyst supports and enhances Information Technology service line systems and initiatives in identifying project objectives, design, conversion, testing and implementation of project plans.
Developing and improves business processes within the technology and business organization and understands functional requirements, specifying and analyzing these to a sufficient level of detail to ensure clarity of definition.
Oversees and follows up enhancements and small projects implementation activities including development and testing; working with functional and technical developers to ensure business requirements are clear and development activities are on schedule.
