The successful candidate will be expected to act as a business partner and subject matter expert around compensation. Ensuring high levels of visibility and autonomy, is also expected to partner with leaders to understand business objectives, while proactively delivering results.
The manager, compensation is responsible for managing organization-wide broad based compensations programs including designing, building, implementing and communication policies, programs and initiatives aligned to the hr strategy and business goals. The manager makes recommendations to ensure the companys compensation programs enhance the companys ability to recruit and retain employees.
Develop communication tools to enhance understanding and awareness of the company's benefit package, including maintenance of intranet pages, kiosk and development of creative email and alternative communication campaigns.
Ability to identify, develop, and implement strategic and tactical plans and solutions; ability to exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies to select methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Ensures legal compliance in completing all paperwork including all Federal, State and Local laws regarding payroll administration. Sets up and maintains state and local tax filing status with ADPs tax filing service.
Serves as the overall principal compensation program manager responsible for tracking all short-term and long-term incentive plan targets, participants, and awards to ensure proper accruals, calculations and communications. Partners with finance and tax to report information for accounting adjustments as necessary.
Develop cost models, forecast analyses and plan design recommendation on a variety of program, budgets and tools, including but not limited to base pay structures, retention, annual merit program, short and long term incentive plans
Providing advice to managers and HR Business Partners on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretation, and job evaluation, including the design of creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs.
