As Commercial and Product Counsel you will work cross functionally throughout our organization on a wide variety of legal matters. Daily issues will include negotiating various licensing agreements, advising product and engineering teams on product development, maintaining our intellectual property portfolio, and other tasks as required.
Provide legal advice and consult on a variety of legal matters including, but not limited to, employee relations, employee benefits, and labor and employment matters. (e.g. performance management, employee discipline, termination, workplace investigations, policy development, FLSA, FMLA, wage and hour issues, workplace accommodations, applications, training, and the protection of intellectual property, trade secrets and confidential information).
Support written discovery requests - communicate with outside counsels and internal business units to prepare for discovery; monitor defense costs and manage legal fee history including monthly legal fee reports.
Applicants should have extensive experience on federal income tax matters, with a strong emphasis on renewable energy investment, energy tax credits and government incentive programs.
