The District Manager is responsible for working with Regional Vice Presidents, Regional Human Resource Managers and Store Managers. This position oversees all aspects of operations and merchandising for a geographic group of stores in their area.
Work collaboratively with the store management team and regional team on associate relations issues, corrective action performance management, and terminations; act as an associate advocate when appropriate to meet company goals and objectives.
In this role you will manage existing relationships with key distributors and wholesalers while growing the network of contractors. New business is driven by building relations with key contractors in the area.
The District Manager provides leadership and strategic direction to Sales Representatives in order to achieve performance objectives. This role leads the development and management of all non-call center based sales channels for TDSs consumer segment. The Regional Manager leads the Consumer Direct Sales department (door-to-door direct sales), Indirect Agents and outside contractors to drive market share in TDS Markets.
Develop new selling techniques and implement them through ams and bdms, contact lost accounts to regain business, prepare weekly sales to goal and budget reports with a focus on profitability and p&l, participate in and/or lead local sales councils.
Drive talent management and succession planning activities within the business. Pro-actively partner with the business and hr partners in recruiting and learning & development to develop plans to strengthen or fill gaps, as needed, to ensure a ready talent pipeline.
Provide timely and insightful input back to other corporate functions, particularly product management and marketing. Negotiate favorable pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises by selling value and ROI.
Roofing system installation evaluation, roofing system problem troubleshooting, and training on proper installation techniques for firestone and genflex roofing systems. Serving both firestone and genflex licensed contractors, sales reps organizations, building owners, architects and design professionals.
