In this role, the selected candidate must have a selling or business development experience, be highly motivated and results-oriented, and be very comfortable drawing insights from customer data analytics.
The Trade Sales Representative works to strategically target potential new and existing trade customers (Builders, Architects, Homeowners, Contractors and Developers) to generate new business by converting or growing loyalty to the Marvin family of brands and from competing window and door manufacturers while also promoting the value-added services.
In this role, the selected candidate will manage new and existing accounts for road builders, site work contractors, and general and specialty contractors; field demonstrate, train and support the instrument hardware and software products.
Consistently manage a pipeline of opportunities; support a weekly forecast process and be able to accurately predict weekly top opportunities/identify potential upside; report back to core team of all activities, wins/losses
Develops sales territory, including cultivation of local partnerships and organizational affiliations; actively generates new leads with targeted businesses through various prospecting activities, including cold calling, canvassing, customer referrals, and partner relationships.
Consult and communicate with business unit management and product management to identify and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, data scope, usage, formatting, and security requirements.
