Prepares, summarizes and presents in-depth commercial credit analyses consisting of all levels of complexity for use by the Bank's Loan Officers in making credit decisions, inclusive of annual reviews of existing credit exposures and new credit requests.
The Underwriter Health and Group Benefits is responsible for rate quote development of new business and renewal opportunities and execution and supervision of all daily operational activities related to rate quote development for the department.
In this role, the selected candidate will analyze the creditworthiness of potential borrowers using credit reports, financial statements, income tax returns, organizational documents, payment histories for existing loans, etc.
Responsible for originating Indirect Loans and ensuring loan decisions adhere to lending policy as well as all applicable compliance and regulatory requirements. Utilize sound judgment in approving loans which represent an acceptable level of risk to the Company. Develops relationships with dealers to foster a strong working relationship.
Performs quality assurance audit for all approved loans and verifies the accuracy of data produced during the origination process. Conducts a thorough re - examination, re - analysis and re - assessment of property valuations, cash flow analyses, Credit Approval Summaries and appraisals for conformity with Banks' Credit policy, financial principles and Rating.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop and maintain relationships with accountants, attorneys, government agencies and other professional resources that service Company clients to identify opportunities for additional referrals.
