In this role, the Endoscopy Nurse Leader will provide clinical and administrative leadership for nursing staff by developing and implementing programs, services, procedures and quality nursing/AORN standards to ensure exemplary care for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures at the facility.
In this role, you will be responsible the completion of initial enrollment assessments and reassessments with a focus on clinical, psychological, and social needs of the prospects as well as members utilizing Uniform Assessment System.
Serving as a consultant / mentor to staff related to education, clinical practice and professional development; collaborating with Nurse Managers to identify educational and practice gaps to be addressed.
Performs patient vital signs, ECG and other required tests, record patient history, obtain accurate medication list and any information the physician may request to enable him/her to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient.
Identify, select, or develop appropriate training programs, including the selection or design of appropriate training aids.Evaluate effectiveness of training programs and location including cost/benefit analyses.
In this role, the Dialysis Nurse Educator / Infection Control Nurse (RN) will be responsible for planning and implementing ongoing education, training and program opportunities to new and present employees in accordance with established standards, regulatory guidelines, new initiatives and best practices.
The APP will collaborate with designated physicians and healthcare team members to provide medical care to an assigned caseload of inpatients as part of the Renal Service inpatient consultation team. The patient mix includes patients with acute and chronic renal disease, complex electrolyte disorders, and patients on dialysis.
