In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with the nursing clinical director, physician leader and staff in insuring that the service/unit maintains the highest standards of patient care and is responsive to the needs of the patient & family as well as the organization.
In this position, you will ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory standards, and policies and procedures; consult with the member, family, inter-disciplinary team when needed, and physician.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for the management, direct supervision and coordination of clinical and/or nonclinical management staff, including utilization management and intensive care management staff, providing expertise in designated programs.
In this role, you must have oversight of clinical activities, including patient assessments, individualized care plan development, care coordination, service level determination, on-site field visits, and the implementation/coordination/maintenance/evaluation of care plans to promote, maintain and restore the patient's health.
In this role, the selected candidate will maintain visibility in the operating rooms and work with staff to meet the needs of the patients and physicians; oversee a 8 OR rooms with approximately 30-40 FTEs.
