This role is responsible for directing the materials, production scheduling, inventory control, and purchasing functions while ensuring a timely response to customer requirements, factory scheduling, inventory levels and integrity.
The Manager of Materials will be responsible for the Procurement function for NYCT Department of Capital Program Management (CPM). Responsibilities include reviewing and processing all documentation specific to the acquisition of equipment, furniture and supplies, tracking all purchases and contracts from the initial point of purchase and ensuring delivery of the assets or services to the customer.
In this role, you will perform in a progressively independent manner, subject to periodic review in accordance with a predefined set of criteria, a wide range of tasks in support of the administration of material transfer agreements and confidential disclosure agreements.
