The Information Security Risk Manager is expected to advise and influence workforce personnel regarding the value and methods of safeguarding data, information systems, and technology infrastructure to ensure that organizational information security risks are identified and managed.
The Analyst will be a member of the NewYork-Presbyterian information securityrisk assessment team, which will perform information system risk assessments of Presbyterian applications, technology initiatives, business associates, and suppliers.
In this role, the selected candidate be responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment and support of complex IT security solutions, tools and services and centralized Encryption and Authentication security systems to ensure protection of proprietary/confidential data and systems and adherence to IT security policies and procedures.
In this role, the selected candidate will analyze the efficiencies of existing processes and develop strategies for improvement; install client applications, develop and improve interfaces, and implement new modules.
The Security Analyst/Technical Writer is responsible for successfully completing security audits and RFPs related to company security. This position will require a strong understanding of company security system deployments, configuration, monitoring and reporting, and the ability to recommend changes in the system as needed.
This role requires strong communication skills as you will be working with technology stakeholders, senior executives and external suppliers. Strong security assessment experience is required to perform assessments for complete systems/solutions involving end-to-end technologies and processes.
In this role, the selected candidate will perform network traffic forensic analysis, utilizing packet capturing software, to isolate malicious network behavior, inappropriate network use or identification of insecure.
In this role, the selected candidate must have a strong hands-on Business Analysis and Data skills: facilitation and gathering of user requirements development of business requirements and functional specifications documents, system and user acceptance testing (UAT), process mapping, data extraction and validation, data mapping, reporting development & automation, building of queries, experience working with data warehouses or databases.
