As our HR Systems & Payroll Specialist, you will help build and retain a world class organization focused on people! You will manage all HR and Payroll systems of our organization and help us grow our company at a rapid pace.
In this role, you will work with private and sensitive information (i.e. personal documents, financial information, etc.) concerning employees and their dependents which requires discretion and confidentiality be maintained.
In this role, you will perform essential duties, lead and direct the work flow of the payroll department to ensure that all payroll is processed in an accurate and timely fashion, and that accounts payable invoices are properly coded and processed in a timely fashion.
In this role, you will be responsible for independently assessing, researching and responding to issues, questions, processing transactions, investigating and resolving all level of discrepancies related to HR, Compensation, Benefits and Leave related programs, policies and regulatory requirements.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for the processing of biweekly payroll for over 500 employees and consultants from input to delivery (new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations and follow up).
In this role, you will be responsible to work collaboratively to improve efficiency and consistently execute all hr business processes. Process transactions in our hr system (workday) and maintain data quality.
In this role, the selected candidate will track and monitor all searches to adhere to CUNY, Hunter and affirmative action protocols by reviewing demographic information and tracking hiring process phases, ensuring necessary steps are followed.
