In this role, the successful candidate will coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and the finance committee of the board of directors; assess any changes necessary.
The HR director is also responsible for managing the day - to - day HR activities including consulting and advising on policy and procedure, staffing, compensation, employee relations, and development, as well as organizational and change management.
In this role, you will ensure Department of Labor and Department of Health compliance for all new hires including time - clock enrollment, criminal background checks / reference checks / license verification.
The Director of Human Resources is responsible for staffing qualified personnel; ensuring employment statute compliance; overseeing all aspects of wage, benefit, workers compensation unemployment; training program direction, implementation and administration; and employee relations coaching, counseling and discipline.
This position requires incumbents to have a career in manufacturing companies, strong financial acumen; understands the connection between HR and P&L and poise, not easily intimidated by senior Executives and/or Board Members.
