Provide electrical engineering expertise to the design team related to microgrid and energy storage design projects; collect site specific information to support energy analysis, power flow modeling, and DER integration.
Managing all aspects of electrical design projects including writing RFPs, interviewing potential design and construction team, reviewing equipment selection and specifications, system design, layout as pertains to owner's standards, review calculations, and field and factory visits and testing with minimal supervision.
will include the design and inspection of machinery for drawbridges, heavy industry electrical/control systems and other heavy movable structures. A background in control systems is required and experience with movable bridge engineering is desired.
Primary responsibility is the design of DC/DC and AC/DC high reliability power electronics in the 20W to 500W output power range for use in severe operating environments. Applications include aerospace flight control systems, engine control systems, flight deck, cabin systems and vehicle drive systems.
Responsibilities may include DC AC, AC-AC and DC DC power conversion from 1W 1MW and 28 to 800VDC / 460VAC. Experience with power magnetics design, machine control and EMI control is also desirable. An individual at this level should demonstrate the leadership ability to lead small work groups or program teams.
Architect and analyze vehicle level power systems potentially utilizing multiple Motor Drives, Energy Storage Systems, Fuel Cells, and DC/DC converters. Architect test fixtures and test systems for motor drives and other power conversion products.
