The Director of Nursing is responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of care and services provided to residents in accordance with company policies, standards of nursing practices and governmental regulations.
Work closely with the Director of Education and Continuing Education to maintain overall management of the human, material, and fiscal resources associated with the continuing nursing education programs.
The Director of Nursing Services plans develops and directs the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Service Department, Education Department, Medical Records, MDS Department, Infection Control, Employee Health Department in accordance with current standards, guidelines, regulations. In the absence of the Administrator, you will direct the resident care policies established by the facility.
Works with Transplant Program Directors and Transplant Institute leadership to identify programmatic goals and to develop mechanisms for implementing goals with staff including written policies and procedures, documented protocols and pathways, and clear workflows.
Responsible for the overall direction and oversees the daily operations, strategic planning and continued growth of the Center; coordinates all parties included in clinical trials, including investigators, department Chiefs and Chairman, and all sponsoring organizations.
Collaborative work with our Certified Pediatric Nurse practitioner, Pediatrician and Psychiatrist to ensure quality care, and best practice.Provide daily, weekly, monthly reports and update with treatment team especially Social Work team who must report out to parents and courts.
Provide strategic oversight for the Neonatal program while managing day to day unit operations in collaboration with the rest of the nursing leadership team. Mentor and evaluate staff to reach their full potential and inspire their continued professional growth. Excel as a change agent, advancing initiatives focused on improving quality and performance throughout.
