Processing of chemotherapy orders according to protocol/safety guidelines, assessing, teaching, and monitoring of chemo patients, conducting pharmacokinetic studies and administering conventional and investigational drugs via peripheral, central , and special routes.
Collect comprehensive data on patients health (from patients and/or family members); analyze data to determine needs & develop individualized care plans; update care plans based on progression and pathway as well as manage care delivery.
Perform administrative responsibilities: i.e. update patient charts, billing codes and completing of required documents from outside agencies: i.e. schools, employers, New York State Department of Social Services, etc.
