The Quality Engineer Outage Services will support the Quality System needs of the Outage Services Division and provide a resource for developing and implementing good Quality practices while supporting the Divisions overall business objectives.
Work collaboratively with architects, developers, technical leads, customers, and end users to collect requirements, develop vision, design solutions, and deliver high quality and easy-to-use software applications.
Facilitate the acquisition of data throughout the product life cycle to demonstrate sustained compliance with customer requirements;provide quality product that satisfies customer requirements within cost and schedule constraints with supporting qualification evidence.
Work both as a team member and individually to translate customer and user needs into custom software solutions that are peer reviewed, tested, verified and integrated and ultimately deployed into operations.
Knowledge of and expertise in software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining and updating several websites utilized by the department for distribution of the software it develops, publishing documents, etc.
They will provide performance feedback regularly to team members and report back to leadership. The lead will work closely with Manager and Chief Engineer to drive the team to meet daily operational requirements and long-term program goals.
Management responsibilities include supervision of design and drafting staff, coordination with clients and associates, and organization of design and construction administration activities to meet established schedules and budgets.
Designs and plans local area network systems for the weapons center mission. Designs efficient and secure solutions to meet mission needs, including present and future capacity requirements and encompassing hardware and software criteria and implementation techniques and tools.
Be able to design and document local processes and procedure for daily operations. Additionally, the applicant will support daily activities, test events and operationally event which requires schedule flexibility.
