The successful candidate with work with design engineers to understand the electronic performance requirements and with system engineers and subject matter experts to develop testing and qualification plans.
The person in this position will be primarily responsible for the engineering and design of building electrical systems (lighting, power, and limited special systems) for facilities such as K-12 and higher education, healthcare, hospitality and commercial buildings.
Management responsibilities include supervision of design and drafting staff, coordination with clients and associates, and organization of design and construction administration activities to meet established schedules and budgets.
Work involves a variety of activities including conceptual and detailed design of low voltage and medium voltage power distribution, lighting, grounding, motor control systems, process equipment and instrumentation. Perform non-routine assignments with little or no direction.
Providing technical advice and support to Federal staff to ensure that technical plans and solutions are proceeding on schedule and that deliverables conform to customer requirements, quality control standards, and negotiated metrics.
The Quality Engineer Outage Services will support the Quality System needs of the Outage Services Division and provide a resource for developing and implementing good Quality practices while supporting the Divisions overall business objectives.
