Serves as a Software Computer Analyst II for the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Analysis Center (TRAC), White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) Analytic and Engineering Mission Support Services contract.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the Cybersecurity lead in the technical execution of assessing cybersecurity threats, implementing secure coding practices, and supporting secure systems operations and maintenance across various Operating System Platforms supporting multiple programs.
Conducts analysis applying scientific methods to support senior Army leader decisions. Develops and executes analytic methodologies and study plans; applying analytic techniques, principles, and tools as appropriate.
In this role you will analyze and evaluate test data, prepare recommendations and participate in discussions to evaluate and determine adequacy of test design, or specifications of the technology under test.
Drafts detailed recommended specifications for complex military modeling and simulation programs. Works at all levels to include the highest technical level of all phases of application design, data source determination, and programming activities.
Work with IT to solve IMPS software issues and develop revisions/updates to the IMPS software as required to address software issues, enhance the user friendliness of software, or to meet new customer requirements. Must be able to respond to issues and interface with fellow employees professionally. Must have good analytical and problem solving skills.
The Business Analyst effectively facilitates the gathering, analysis, prioritization and categorization of complex business requirements in the revenue business lines s/he supports; leads and directs business teams in medium to large projects creating new business solutions or enhancements to existing business solutions.
Provides intelligence support for contingency operations, battle staff and operational-level planning, joint and multi-lateral training exercises, and strategic engagement policy throughout the Areas of Operational Responsibility (AOR) and Areas of Interest (AOI).
