In this role, you will identify errors and/or trends in system data to improve accuracy, timeliness and general flow of transactions and accounting data and research problems and resolve when necessary.
Developing Operational Knowledge. Developing a functional understanding of the complex IT architecture of $16B global consumer products business, including major ERP, financial reporting, warehouse management, traffic management and other major IT systems.
Analyzes technical data, designs, preliminary specifications, manufacturing limitations, supplier facilities, and parts/equipment availability to position RMS to achieving the best lowest cost solution for our upcoming negotiations/captures.
Coordinates within Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Sustainment, Design Engineering, the Supply Base and Industry experts to facilitate affordable solutions in support of RMS Accelerating Affordability Transformation (AAT) efforts.
In this role, you will perform integrated logistics duties and responsibilities associated with Supply Chain Management, including, but not limited to sales planning, production planning, inventory positioning and management, warehouse management and CONUS and OCONUS transportation management.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for supplier sourcing, contracts and supplier relationship management to transform business requirements into competitive supply market solutions.
Maintain document and training libraries for North America Procurement (N-FPN) Polices & Procedures. Participate in policy review to ensure alignment with Global Procurement (FP) Guidelines and Procedures, as well as BASF Corporate Policies & Procedures.
Support Operational Objectives by adhering to policies and practices, ensuring required Procurement data and documentation is maintained, recommending and implementing process improvements, and supporting projects as warranted.
