The candidate will be responsible for managing interdisciplinary projects, document preparation and production, managing sub consultants, monitoring budgets, schedules, administering quality control program, and perform reviews of work.
The project manager coordinates test planning, script reviews testing and defect resolution and deployment planning and support and ensures that the project adheres to all Enterprise and GWIM risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls.
Manage two related software projects using EVMS and configuration management tools. Maintain WBS, work packages, cost accounts. Collect and verify data to produce reports for external customers. Support accurate forecast of project performance issues and risks. Contribute to plans and actions for mitigating risks.
Responsible for planning and coordinating the resources required to complete project tasks within the predicted project cost, time and quality estimates; responsible for defining and tracking all project deliverables and reporting status.

Develop project goals that support the business objectives, develop and execute strategies and plans to meet the goals. Provide customized project management models to ensure effective delivery of program goals.
Act as business liaison serving as primary point of contact between application business segments and database administrators; assist with design, development and implementation of databasearchitectures and database solutions for new initiatives.
Must have years work experience managing full lifecycle technology based projects using a formal project management methodology (PMP Certification a plus) and current software project reporting tools (MS Project+).

The Project Management Function is responsible for the overall relationship management of client accounts and day to day activities and to ensure that Medidata is able to deliver quality projects and services on time and within budget through effective management of Medidata resources.
The role will support the effort to sustain and improve programs and activities associated with the life cycle of project, including specification, selection, procurement, installation, and qualification.
