The Senior Tax Accountant will assist the manager in tax matters relating to the preparation of Federal and State tax reports, income tax accounting, tax planning, and research and related tax matters.

ensuring the valuation accuracy of the companys manufacturing costs and their carrying value in inventory while supporting all facets of the plant operation with requested financial analysis.
In this role, you will be responsible for prepares monthly financial statements, budget, reprojection, quarterly forecasts and annual budget for assigned lines. Usually the more difficult income and overhead accounts.
This role requires a solid understanding of GAAP (IFRS a plus) and willingness to research and document the application and interpretation of new accounting standards and their impact on our transactions. Work with a team of key leaders, responsible for driving the execution, maintenance, and enhancement of the company's process, policies, and procedures.
In this role, you will be understanding of the revenue cycle in order to properly report revenue and investigate issues, automation, assistance with audit and compliance reporting requests, and other areas as needed or assigned.
