This person will work closely with residential and commercial customers (contractors, mechanical engineers, etc.) to build awareness, gain product specification and assist with training. As well as manage an existing sales force.
Responsible for working with existing sales accounts and potential new customers in a specific geographic region to increase share and penetrate new markets/ applications with the Power Transmission Solutions products.
The Regional Account Manager (supporting global accounts (i.e. GAM), managing regional accounts (i.e. RAM) or developing new and emerging accounts (i.e. N&E)) is responsible for the sale of BDM PS products and services to pharmaceutical or medical devices accounts, maintaining sustainable business relationships to manage existing business and develop new business relationships with new pharmaceutical or medical devices accounts.
Developing and implementing a sales strategy that includes cold calling, sales prospecting, and defining the appropriate manner to engage the client (which would include social networking and other contact and relationship tools).
Provide product demonstration, customer support/service, pre-qualify and assist customers with financing, front discharge sales, communicate with Sales Director and inside sales administrator concerning quotes.
The Account Manager will achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company's products and/or related services.
Work with customer purchasing, manufacturing, and other groups to maximize existing business by solving problems, expediting the sales process, managing pricing negotiations, and strengthening overall business relationships.
