The District Sales Manager is responsible for generating adequate sales from the district to achieve district sales goals by recruiting, training, and motivating contractors to sell our products. The District Manager position will also involve traveling to establish builders, train and assist them in pre-engineered sales, order and product knowledge.
This person will work closely with residential and commercial customers (contractors, mechanical engineers, etc.) to build awareness, gain product specification and assist with training. As well as manage an existing sales force.
Utilize technical product expertise to identify project opportunities and proactively market them to the right assigned customers; grow revenue with existing customers and leverage those relationships to identify other customer leads and opportunities.
Work with the Director of Industrial Sales to analyze, develop and recommend customer sales/profitability offers to be approved by the VP Industrial Sales. Analyze current raw/ refined sugar market and competitors in order to develop and recommend these offers. The US sugar market is quite dynamic and requires constant monitoring/analysis.
The District Sales Manager will report to the Regional Sales Manager and will manage the territory as an independent contributor. Completes and submits on a timely basis all required reports, data input requirements, requests.
The Account Manager will achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company's products and/or related services.
