The Intermediate Applications Developer provides input and support for full systems life cycle management activities (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.).
This person will also provide support for production issues / client queries during north America business hours. The mission-critical nature of these global applications means that on occasion it will be necessary for the successful candidate to work extended hours.
Team members should be comfortable working in all layers of an application, from the database design through interface coding. As a new member of the development team, the candidates time will be spent developing code, writing SQL scripts and stored procedures, and providing support for new and existing products.
Analyze complex data analysis and workflow requirements. Must be able to consolidate information from various business area, analyze the problem or requirement(s), and recommend an appropriate solution.
The candidate will be responsible for integration development work involved to migrate the Mainframe Post Trade Processing applications to a vendor based solution (Broad ridge Processing System/BPS), migrating the Post trade applications to Micro focus based Architecture Platform.
Implementing approach and tools to efficiently utilize the platform environments across development and testing requirements including deployment into private cloud infrastructure and Docker containers.
Creates exemplary project deliverables including wireframes, site maps, taxonomies, screen flows or process diagrams, task analyses, user scenarios and personas, competitive analyses, etc. At least 3 work samples are required to apply.
