Significant design and engineering responsibilities, including concept development, detailed design and analysis, release and verification for component and assembly design, determining manufacturing methods, FEA, DFM, and DFA.
This position will have full process responsibility for all product moving through a specific work cell in one of our Microelectronics Manufacturing Factories that produce Microwave and Millimeterwave products for military-grade, aerospace products.
This individual will also work with program leadership and have a proven track record in concept generation and trade studies, and meeting hardware unit cost and program budget and schedule objectives.
The Field Service Engineer (FSR) will perform ATIRCM Organizational and Back Shop (Intermediate) Maintenance Level technical support (Hot Mock Up and on Aircraft) in Afghanistan for an anticipated one year assignment as directed by the Program Office. Other ATIRCM Field Engineering travel may be required to support Rotary Wing or Fixed Wing Aircraft and ASE requirements at customer locations.
Work closely with manufacturing resources, leads, peers and other support functions to identify and implement improvements to support manufacturing ramp, improve yields, and improve flow and reduce cost throughout the factory.
Design and develop software applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC 5 and ASP.NET Web API 2.Work on the Application development team in an Agile fashion continuously designing, creating and delivering world-class software.
The ideal candidate will have experience implementing both hardware and firmware solutions to protect our products from intrusion. They should also possess the ability to architect, develop, and integrate new solutions in an ever changing environment.
Develops new processes and identifies and implements changes in product flow to support the production ramp-up of SMT/through-hole products through application of lean manufacturing principles. Processes include stencil printing, pick and place, reflow soldering and flux cleaning.
The candidate shall well versed in using solid modelling tools (Pro-E CREO preferred) and have a proven capability in applying those tools within the design and review process with demonstrated creativity.
