In this role, the selected candidate will evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
Responsible for supporting and developing medical device manufacturing engineering projects, processes, test and activities for plastics, instruments or disposables product lines. Works with the manufacturing team and supports management goals for manufacturing activity aimed at providing cost efficient operations.
Works without supervision in a technically intensive environment.Troubleshoots technical issues to root cause in production or in returned product in conjunction with manufacturing staff. Communicate issues in a timely manner.
